perpetual procrastinator
sooooo… rather than depress myself further.. after reading that another friend (due dec. 20) has given birth already.. (along with our mutual friend.. who coincidentally WAS due dec. 20 as well, but had her baby on dec. 7).. i decided to edit a few pics of the kids that are long overdue and post them for my dad to see (he doesnt like that i post more images of strangers on my blog instead of cute pics of his grandkids.).. as well as write the LONGEST run on sentence of the year.
so.. i SHOULD be in the living room putting together the goodie bags for chloye’s school party tomorrow.. and baking the rest of the cookies for the cookie decorating we are going to rawk tomorrow…
or going to walmart to pic up the prints that go in their ornaments they are making..
yet.. here i am. blogging. wishing i would go into labor and let someone else host the Christmas party tomorrow.. LOL
today.. i watched the polar express in ashton’s class with him.. went roller skating with chloye as a reward for all of her reading AR points.. took the kids to the library after school.. enrolled chloye into basketball..
did everything except go into labor.
so.. to start.. ashton was an indian for the thanksgiving feast the kindergarteners host every year. chloye was an indian her K year as well. she insisted that because we are part indian in real life.. she had to play one in the feast. then, she insisted ashton follow suit. jax will be the oddball pilgrim in 6 years.. just watch.. LOL

then, the next day.. they had inflatables at the school for field day. it was incidentally our FIRST freezing day.. look at that red nose. i was so worried i would go into labor (almost a month ago) and the kids would be too sick to enter the room..

this pic cracks me up.. a breaker had popped for the school.. this ginormous inflatable started collapsing.. this girl didnt want to go down.. so a teacher had to help her down.. before the inflatable collapsed.
incidentally.. i wasnt laughing at the time.. i was freaking out because there were still a few kids up there.. and those things lose air FAST.

here is my lil man coming down.

then.. we went to ride the train and walk the day after thanksgiving.

the train made the birds fly away in mass.. it was pretty cool loooking.

then, we walked through the park…
the colors were so pretty.

and the kids had never been in the japanese gardens.. so we strolled through them for about an hour.
(btw: ashton has had his hair cut since this day.. you can see his face again…)

they were really impressed with the massive bamboo.

michael was impressed with how friendly the squirrels are. he found a peanut.. they will literally take food from your hand…

isnt it cute?

anyway.. there are a few overdue pics of the kids. i have more.. but i just havent gotten to them yet. maybe i will do that tomorrow. so then.. all i will have to worry about blogging will be pix of jax.
IF… he ever decides to come.
