interesting to me that i only did 2 maternity sessions all year last year.. and so far for 2009, i have done 3. {sorry, i have gotten so used to typing senior 2010 that inadvertently pushed us a year forward.. sorry.}

this first one is a small share.. only to show you how beautiful she is.  she was my nurse when i delivered jaxon.  she was an awesome nurse.. available when i needed her, but not in my way as i am trying to breathe through my non stop contractions thanks to the pitocin.

i was in a whole lotta pain when the contractions were about a minute a part.. and when i finally asked for meds.. they were delivered quickly; as she knew i was in pain.  i had hoped for a drug free delivery, but it didnt happen this time.. as that pitocin was just too intense.

i was excited that she wanted me to do her maternity pictures.  she is 30 weeks pregnant here.  crazy, huh?  she is tiny.  but, it is her first.

she has an uncanny resemblance to izzy from greys.

i hope lil man looks just like her.. so that he is as gorgeous to photograph as she is.

then, i had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful mom.  she is 33 weeks pregnant with TWIN girls.
im super duper excited about this newborn session.  my first twins.  YEA.

she has a 2 year old as well.  she will REALLY have her hands full.

would you believe these are all shot in her backyard?  she has the BEST location ever.  i wish i lived there… all of my sessions would be at my home.. LOL

i have so many pictures to blog.. and ia m so behind.  but i am doing something i rarely do.. i am blogging a session out of sequence just to show the location to someone.. LOL

i have a prebridal coming up.. and we havent nailed down the location.  this location is pretty.. so i want her to see it.

this hip mom to be is so super stylish.  her house is uber modern.. she is going to have the cutest nursery i have seen in a long time.. and i am so loving her red hair.

her smile is infectious.. it has SUCH a pregnant mom glow to it.

too bad they arent having a girl.. the pink framing this picture is so pretty….

they had this great little fountain out by their house as well.. i love beautiful landscaping in communities.

so, debi gomez of LIFE’S IMAGES PHOTOGRAPHY located in the Northern realm of Houston graciously did my maternity images.

being behind the camera… actually stepping in front of it is a little awkward.  especially almost 30lbs heavier than you are used to being.. LOL

but, i have snaps of myself pregnant with the other two.. and with this being our last.. i thought i needed to get at least a few pictures of my belly before it is massive.. and since i really LOVE debi’s work.. i asked her to do them.

hard to believe that i used to fit in those jeans.. and those were my ‘bigger’ jeans.

i was a size 00 after having ashton.  i had never been that tiny.  during my 3 years at nasa, i put on a little weight.. and jumped to a size 6 in those 3 years.  i couldnt stand upsizing my jeans every year..

but, now, looking at how tiny my size 6′s are, i want to fit back  into those.. LOL

i should hide my 00′s in the very bottom of my closet so that those dont taunt me after having this baby.

these are just a few of the sneak peeks she shared with me.. i cannot wait to see the rest.

I currently do all of my work on location; meaning I come to you! If you have a newborn, I will photograph them in your home or in a location of your choice up to 14 days. I can work with natural light if you have plenty of it in your home, I can set up studio lights if you have a space large enough to accomodate me or we can have a lot of fun and take your newborn outdoors with some lush greenery as a backdrop. Your choice!

Anything beyond the first 14 days are done with natural light only. I will only bring studio lighting for newborns. Babies, Children and families will be photographed in your home utilizing your natural environment as a backdrop. Or, we can go outdoors utilizing local parks, beaches or downtown urban environments for your images.

This is my other July birth.  Somehow,i truly luck out and get the most gorgeous mom-to-be’s.  but, then again.. any glowing mom to be is gorgeous.. right?

we started out shooting some in their backyard.

it stormed the entire time i drove out there, and then the heavens opened up some beautiful light, just in time for a little photo opportunity.

i love when my clients have a fun idea.  the floppy sun hat was ALL her idea.  i just love this picture.

then, we stepped inside for a few portraits.

she has an infectious laugh.. always smiling. 

and of course.. that beautiful, round belly.

and the stunning nursery.  it is light, and airy.  i loved it.

i cant wait for her birth, and for the arrival of baby S.
